OUR GUARANTEE
MJ Yorkie
Kennel Guarantees each of our puppies to be a registered purebred and
to furnish registration papers. We guarantee your puppy to be
free of all communicable diseases for a period of 10 days from the date
of delivery. There is no guarantee against hypoglycemia, a
problem which may affect any toy breed, generally due to owner
negligence. We also guarantee your puppy to be free of specific
debilitating genetic defects as follows:
- Heart murmur (grade 3 or greater);
- Collapsed trachea;
- Hip Displacia (debilitating);
- Liver shunt;
until the Yorkie reaches one year old.
In case of death as a result of any of the above stated defects we must
be notified within 12 hours and arrangements made for your DVM
(veterinarian) to autopsy the puppy. A certified written
statement on letterhead explaining the problem in detail must be signed
by your veterinarian and provided to MJ Yorkie Kennel to validate this
guarantee. Failure to do so will cause this guarantee to be null
and void.
In case of death as a result of poor health within the first 10 days
after delivery of the Yorkie is one year old, we will replace it with
another puppy of equal value determined by us. Registration
papers must be signed and returned to MJ Yorkie Kennel. There are
no cash refunds.
If the puppy displays any indication of poor health within the first 10
days, MJ Yorkie Kennel must be notified immediately and the puppy taken
to a veterinarian for any necessary treatment. Failure to do so
will cause this guarantee to be null and void. If the puppy is
diagnosed with a health problem clearly attributable to us the puppy
may be returned to us and will be replaced with another puppy of equal
value, determined by MJ Yorkie Kennel. All transportation
expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser.
In consideration of a deposit of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) as
Surety of Action, a non-refundable deposit, we guarantee purchaser the
Yorkie will not be sold to any other party for a period of 10 days from
the date we determine the puppy is ready to go to its new home.
The balance owed on the puppy must be paid in full prior to shipping of
the puppy. Transportation is the responsibility of the purchaser
and must be paid prior to delivery.
Veterinary expenses incurred by the purchaser for any reason will not
be the seller's responsibility.
HEALTH RECORDS
Your new Yorkshire Terrier will have an AVID FriendChip, a tiny
microchip that contains a personal, one-of-a-kind Identification
Number.
A vererinary health certificate and health record will accompany your
pet. All de-worming and vaccinations will be up-to-date upon delivery
of your pet.
